All of our sofas are handmade with great attention to proportion and detail. The styling is current, with traditional and contemporary elements blended into a very lasting look. These sofas are made to use and enjoy over the span of many years.

Lee offers hundreds of fabrics, great designs, seven seat cushion options from cushions with inner coils, fiber or feather-down wrapped, to earth-friendly fills. You can choose the type of stitching as well as matching or contrast welting for a small up-charge. Lee is one of the few sofa companies that continue to make its sofas with eight-way hand tied coils--a sign of great craftsmanship.

Lee has been well-known as a leader of eco-friendly manufacturing in the ecology movement since the 1980's. Its sofas are manufactured in the most earth-friendly way available without compromising comfort and durability. For example, Lee's foam suppliers use the most current eco-friendly technology today which allows foam to be no more than 20% soy based without compromising quality and are currently investing to discover new ways of increasing the organic material or soy content; they also use only locally grown soy. The wood frames are made out of certified US sustainably harvested wood. Lee is a member of the Sustainable Furnishing Council (SFC) and is also a member of the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI).

In regards to ecology and good will in general, the company's original mission statement from the 1960's is a commitment to care for its employees, the environment, and to make the very best product it can. Last year Lee contributed to planting over 15,000 trees and continues this year to plant a tree for every Lee item sold.
