Soft and cozy, this mid-sized sofa is going to force you to keep up your feet and relax. This Lee sofa is not only extremely comfortable but is also very well made adhering to practices that have placed the manufacturer as a leader of eco-friendly manufacturing in the ecology movement since the 1980's. Lee industries makes all of its sofas in North Carolina and goes to great length to ensure comfort and long lasting durability by keeping traditional sofa manufacturing practices that have been viewed as too labor intensive by most manufacturers: Lee still builds its sofas with eight-way hand tied coils in the base under the seat cushions, the frames are made out of sustainably harvested wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-- Lee is also a member of the Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI)--the frame joints are double doweled and corner blocked, and soy based foam and recycled fibers are used without compromising comfort or durability. There are several hundered fabrics available that include 100% cotton as well as durable poly blends.
It's tryuly refreshing to see a company that puts so much pride in its product: Under the seat cushion you'll find the signatures of the team that built it.
