Warranties

All warranties on our merchandise are those of the manufacturers; we offer no extended warranties, but we believe that our manufacturers back their products well. If we find that a manufacturer does not allow us to service its warranty fairly, we drop the manufacturer as we have done in the past. Since we are a family owned neighborhood store and truly enjoy our customers, it is important to us that you are happy with our service. (If for some unexpected reason you find yourself angry at a situation that may have arisen, please remember a little sugar goes a long long way, let us know, and be assured that we will do our very best to take care of you.)

Mattress Warranties

We offer no refund or exchange of mattresses once the mattress has been delivered and the delivery guys have left the premises. Special order mattresses, such as king sizes or custom sizes may also not be cancelled. In most cases, a mattress can be cancelled with a phone call to us before the delivery. We offer no comfort guarantee except on Tempur-Pedic mattresses which has a 90-day manufacturer comfort guarantee with a full mattress refund less $249 shipping fee which can be applied to a new purchase over $899. Each manufacturer specifies the duration of the warranty which is usually between five and twenty years, in most cases ten.

Simmons Mattress Warranty

Simmons requires the customer provide the following items: a picture of under the bed to show proper center-leg support, a picture of the sag with a straight edge and a ruler showing an indentation of more that 1.5 inches, and lastly a wide angle view of the mattress showing the sag in relation to the whole width of the mattress; a copy of the invoice is also required by the manufacturer. Once we have received all four items, we review the package and submit the paper-work to the manufacturer and once we get approval we ask the customer to bring in the law label tag and side name ribbon. We charge a $50 service and dumping fee which is about a third of our overall store cost. A new mattress can be replaced in approximately two weeks once all of the manufacturer required materials have been submitted. Please DO NOT remove the law label tag until requested to do so by us. If the law label tag is missing, the warranty is null and void. Stains or soiled markings also void out the warranty, so we strongly encourage you to purchase a moisture proof breathable mattress cover.

Serta Mattress Warranty

Please provide us with the same materials above. In addition to the above items, a visual inspection will be required upon delivery of the mattress, to ensure a defect exists--but not to worry, if there is a defect, you will get a new mattress.

Tempur-Pedic

20 year warranty: 10 years non-prorated plus another 10 years prorated against defects, cracking of foam or sag over 3/4 of an inch.

Beds and Bedroom Furniture

All warranties are those solely of the manufacturer and are not our warranties. As a general rule, all bedroom furniture is guaranteed to be free of defects and is covered under normal use for one year.

If something happens to break, please contact us: If you know it was your fault and you just need the part, we will do our best to get it to you. If something breaks with normal use within a year, we will do our best to either fix or replace the item. As a general rule, if we make a house-call, there may be a small service fee to help off-set a portion of our labor expenses. There is then generally no fee if the customer picks up the part from us. It is important to us that our customers are satisfied with our products and our service, so we will do whatever we can reasonably do to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchase.

Beds and Wood Floors

Making sure that the center legs of your bed are straight and perpendicular to the floor and on a rug or carpet will prevent the bed from sliding on wood floors and knocking out the center leg. When the center legs are not perpendicular, they are likely to buckle under if the bed moves, and the result is that the cross slats or support beam can break; also the mattress coils can fall which results in a sagging mattress.
